Data Policy
The documents, evidence, testimony, communications and work product entrusted to DocketIQ remain under the control of the firm and its authorized users. The principles below are how we operate; the binding version is the agreement we sign with each firm.
The binding commitments are in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
The principles
We don’t sell your case data
DocketIQ does not sell customer case information to advertisers or data brokers.
Access is limited
Customer information is accessible only as necessary to operate, secure, support and maintain the service, subject to appropriate controls.
Your matters remain separated
DocketIQ is designed to maintain logical separation between customer organizations and their matters. A matter a user holds no membership on does not appear to them at all.
You control your users
Firms control who is invited into their organization and which matters authorized users can access. A role is held on a matter, not on an account.
You can take your information with you
DocketIQ is designed to support the export of case information and materials so your firm’s work isn’t trapped inside the platform.
The security page sets out the controls behind these principles.
